Hi, I am Rachel

A photographer from the North West of the United Kingdom. I live in Windermere which is in the Lake District National Park, it is stunningly beautiful and rural; there are endless fields, rivers, mountains, sheep, cows and of course many lakes.

I've photographed lots of couple's wonderful weddings, birthday parties, anniversaries, pets, including meditating horses (yes, you read that correctly), families, newborns, interiors, food, et al, using available natural light but sometimes when it's required I'll throw in some flash. My style is, however, far removed from studio set ups with immaculate white backgrounds, it has been described as natural, beautiful and timeless.

I have a very useful background in styling and I automatically pay a lot of attention to detail both on my shoots and in the editing process afterwards.

Above all else my goal is to create images that evoke a sense of joy, that tell a story, that make you smile when viewing them, and hopefully some of them will end up printed and framed to be enjoyed by generations to come.
